Fall is officially here, which in the media world means new broadcast programming. AdWeek recently released The 7 Most Promising New Broadcast TV Shows of Fall 2019, which is an abbreviated list of the 17 new programs due to roll out in the next few weeks.

The stakes for broadcast programming are higher than ever since streaming services are rolling out new programming on a much more regular basis. Audiences no longer have to wait for a certain time of year to be introduced to new shows when they’re available on a regular basis through services such as Netflix, Hulu, and HBO.

Although network television ratings have been in a steady decline over the past few years, many viewers anticipate new Fall programming and will access the content via streaming services. Placing commercials in season premiers and within the first few weeks of a new show is an effective way to reach audiences who are tuning in, curious to check them out.

We have a few Black-ish fans in our office who are looking forward to the premier of the prequal, Mixed-ish. Keep an eye out for some of our client partners who will have a presence in some of these shows on all platforms!
