Social Media Manager
Position Overview: As our Social Media Manager, you’ll be at the helm of our social media initiatives, driving strategy development, buying, campaign management, and performance optimization. You will specialize in social media platforms. Reporting to our Director of Digital Media, you’ll lead a team of digital strategists to deliver impactful results for our clients.
Responsibilities Include:
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive paid social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives and brand identity.
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize social media campaigns across all major social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Budget Management: Manage digital media budgets effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve campaign objectives.
- Audience Targeting: Utilize audience segmentation and targeting techniques to reach the desired demographic groups and maximize campaign effectiveness.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor campaign performance metrics, ROI, and use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns for better results.
- Partnership Management: Collaborate with external client partners and vendors such as media agencies, publishers, and ad networks to negotiate media buys, secure placements, and maximize campaign reach.
- Analytics and Reporting: Analyze media buy data and delivery to generate reports and insights for stakeholders, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in social media marketing, and incorporate innovative approaches into strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of digital media strategists, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to drive team success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other buying departments such as video, audio, and outdoor to ensure alignment of digital media efforts with overall business objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in digital marketing, preferably within an agency environment
- Working knowledge and proficiency in paid ad placement on Meta and major social media platforms. Platform media buyer certifications preferred
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking prowess, and a knack for meeting deadlines
- Experience with social listening tools preferred
- Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team
- Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
